Hello Chapter Members!
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to all our Chapter members who participated at NIGP Forum 2026 in August both in‑person and virtually. Thanks to your continued commitment, our Chapter earned two distinguished awards: Chapter of the Year for Operations and the NIGP Performance Standard Platinum Seal Award! These achievements reflect the exceptional professionalism and dedication that define our Chapter. Let’s keep this momentum going!
September Membership Meeting and Workshop. Please join us on Friday, September 18, 2026, for our In-Person and Virtual Chapter Membership Meeting and our Fall Workshop). The Fall Workshop begins at 9:00 AM with Lunch at 1:00 PM. Kirk Buffington will be our guest speaker and will present three powerful presentations in the morning starting at 9:00 AM through 1:00 PM. New Strategic Plan. The Chapter will be discussing and voting on our new Strategic Plan at our September Membership Meeting. Special thanks to the Strategic Plan Task Force for their efforts in getting our plan updated!
Virtual CPPB/CPPO Study Group Session for Fall 2026. The VIRTUAL WEDNESDAY Study Group Session for Fall 2026 for CPPB/CPPO will run from July 22, 2026, through October 7, 2026. Meetings are held every Wednesday between 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. Please note you only need to register ONCE for the study group. The meeting link, which will be provided via e-mail upon successful registration, will remain the same for the entire Fall 2026 session. This virtual study group is provided at no charge. Central Florida Chapter Members are eligible to receive scholarship points if at least five (5) sessions are attended. Please visit the Chapter’s website for additional details and registration.

CFC NIGP Fall 2026 Social Event at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Join us for our 2026 Social Event at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament in Kissimmee! Don’t forget the Chapter is subsidizing a portion of the dinner adventure for our members and their first guest to make this opportunity more affordable for our members. Additional guests attend a the regular rate. There is still room so come join us! Deadline to register is September 4, 2026. Additional details are on the CFC NIGP website.
Reverse Trade Show. Don’t forget! Join us on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Orlando Theme Park Resort!!!
- Event Registration: Registrations for vendors, and agencies are located at Home - Central Florida Chapter of NIGP on the home page.
- Rooms: Scholarship points can be used for hotel rooms the day before and night of the event! A room raffle is on our website for Chapter Full Members that are registered for RTS full day and live 25 miles from the hotel location. The survey closes on August 31, 2026.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Contact Damaris Nazario at fundraising@cfcnigp.org if you would like to volunteer for RTS!There are virtual opportunities before the event and in-person opportunities on the day of the event.

Engagement. As always, the CFC‑NIGP Board is truly grateful for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to building on our shared success as we move into the fall season. If you are interested in contributing your expertise to the important work of our Chapter, we have several opportunities available including Committee Chair roles, Committee Member positions, and participation in RTS activities.
