Committee Boot Camp: First ever Chapter Committee Boot Camp on Friday, May 3, 2024, 10AM, at the Renaissance Senior Center before the Chapter meeting. Register for the Committee Boot Camp and attend the Chapter meeting in person and lunch is FREE! Elevate your leadership! Join our Committee Leadership Bootcamp for impactful insights, growth, and collaborative excellence.
Family Day: Join us at Fun Spot American Theme Park, Orlando, FL on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 10 AM. Three ways to join: 1) with rides and lunch ($19 pp), 2) lunch only ($7 pp), and 3) network with your purchasing peeps ($0)! he event is available for 1- to 5-person parties. The Chapter is subsidizing part of the rides and lunch option to make this more affordable for our members.
Pirates Dinner Adventure, 2024 Adult Special Event: Join us at Pirates Dinner Adventure, Orlando, FL on Saturday, October 5, 2024, 4 PM. The event is available for 1- or 2-person parties. $34 per person.
Reverse Trade Show: Join us on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at SeaWorld!!! Scholarship points can be used! Look on our website for room giveaways for Full Day Agency attendees!

Legislative Updates: This has been a busy year for legislators, and we’ve got the entire list of legislation that may affect you. Please go to the document library, Document Library - Central Florida Chapter of NIGP (cfcnigp.org), to obtain the latest information.
I want to encourage members to evaluate your talents and strengths and identify if there are any committees or task forces opportunities that you would be willing to volunteer for in 2024. Committee chair, member, and RTS positions are available. We have much work to do as a chapter this year and we can benefit from having active volunteers. Please do not hesitate to contact me or one of the other board members with any questions you might have. Let’s make this year a fantastic year for your Chapter!
